Custom blush palette, swatches and review

One of the [many, many] things I bought during my trip to England and Holland earlier this year was a custom blush palette from UK brand Fashionista.
Empty Fashionista palette
The palette, which costs £5, is a near-square 3.5x3.75" and each blush or eyeshadow contains 2.5g of product. At the full retail price of £4 each (about $6.30), that is a good value! The palette itself won't work with any other depotted cosmetics - it's specifically made to hold the Fashionista pans - but it is well-made and sturdy plastic with a really nice, large mirror. (For some reason I have no picture of the front cover of the palette.)

NOTD roundup - recent manis from indie to international brands

Warning, very pic-heavy after the jump! Click any photo to enlarge

Today I'll be spamming my readers with some of the manicures I've worn lately. I love nail polish! My collection has been growing at an alarming rate, this past year or so ...
Cult Nails Clairvoyant (Unicorn Puke)
... and this is one I cannot regret buying, since it's no longer available (D:)! Cult Nails Clairvoyant (originally Unicorn Puke) from the Super Powers collection is a blue-violet jelly packed with an entire rainbow of flakies

Small Ulta haul

... from, er, kind of a while ago. >.>
Little Ulta haul
It was one of those Ulta trips where you have the $3.50 off $10 purchase coupon, and you have $9 worth of stuff in your hand ... hence, the clearance lip balm, which was less than a dollar and I probably won't even use.

Easter egg nails

Months late as per my usual in blogging, here are the dress and manicure I wore for Easter!
This is a model, not me, in case that wasn't clear xD
Clicking on this image will take you to the item listing at Forever21.com
I fell in love with the Geo Cutout Dress from Forever 21 online, and found it at a nearby F21, where I discovered it was a bit more purple-toned in person - and kind of flimsy, too. The fabric also had the worst static cling I've encountered in quite some time, so for the first time in about a decade, I had to wear a half-slip ^_^

Swatches of six My Pretty Zombie eyeshadows and one blush

One of sellers I really like, but have not yet given as much attention as they deserve, is My Pretty Zombie (MPZ) - an indie makeup company with an incredibly fun (though morbid!) brand image.
MPZ haul
Decapitated fingers make their creepy way into a lot of MPZ packages xD

Mistress 9 look for Sailor Moon collab

Here's part 2 of the Sailor Moon collaboration: villains!
I chose Mistress 9 for my villain (and not just because she looks so much like Rei/ Mars, my fave scout). She's from the Death Busters (or Bureau of Bad Behavior), a group whose goal is to bring Pharaoh 90 to Earth to smother the entire world, ending all life and creating The Silence.

There was also a festive manicure

But it did not match the makeup ^.^ In all honesty I probably would have painted my nails to match the makeup (Wet n Wild Waves of Enchantment would have been perfect) if I had planned it in advance!
